The training course will be held on Safeguards in Carlow
The County Carlow Sports Partnership is hosting an online Backup 2 training course on July 5, 2022 and will take place over Zoom.
Participants will need a tablet/laptop and a good internet connection. The “Zoom” access link for the course and relevant course materials will be emailed to participants in advance in Word and PDF formats. For accreditation, participants must complete the full course.
This course is a must for all Kids Club Officers.

A children’s club leader should be child-centered and have as their primary goal the establishment of a child-centered philosophy within the club. He/She is the link between the children and the adults of the club. He/She also takes responsibility for monitoring and reporting to the club’s management committee on the impact of club policy on young people and sports leaders.
– Each person participating in will use its own independent unit.
– Backup 1 course must be completed before participating in Backup 2
