Lucy Clark, fundraiser for the appeal, said: “We are looking for thrill-seeking fundraisers on this occasion – people who have always wondered what it was like to jump out of a plane. !

“Maybe it’s on your to-do list or something saved to mark a special birthday.

“If that’s something you’re up for, get in touch with us as places are free, provided you’re able to meet a minimum sponsorship target of £395.

“I challenge you to help our Children’s Appeal!”

The appeal is raising £1million for a shopping list of items to improve the patient and family experience in children’s wards at Royal Preston Hospital, Chorley and South Ribble Hospital, the Broadoaks Child Development Center in Leyland and other facilities run by the Trust.

Nicola said, “I am honored every day to see the difference the charity team appeal makes to children and their families.

“It helps us as nurses go the extra mile and helps us do the ‘beautiful things’ that make a real difference and have a direct impact on patient care.”
