LiveWell Behavioral Health is based in Brevard County, Florida, and has served our community since 2005. Founded by Dr. Mike Ronsisvalle as Florida Counseling Centers in 2005, then renamed LiveWell Behavioral Health in 2021, our team has faithfully served families from Florida’s Space Coast and beyond.

DOES LIVEWELL TAKE AN INSURANCE?

LiveWell is a private compensation firm. For customers who wish to bill their insurance company, we offer an exit statement to submit.

DO YOU OFFER IN-PERSON AND TELEHEALTH SERVICES?

Yes. Our coaching service is exclusively provided through a solution based on an online application. Our clinical individual and family therapy services as well as our organizational health services are available in person and by telehealth. Our group therapy, intensive programming and MSD services are provided in person.

DO YOU HAVE COVID-19 PRACTICES AND PROTOCOLS IN PLACE FOR IN-PERSON APPOINTMENTS?

Yes. We adhere to CDC guidelines in the State of Florida to ensure the safety of our staff and customers.

ARE YOU A CRISIS CENTER?

No. If you are in a crisis and need immediate attention, please call 911. LiveWell is an outpatient mental health provider and provides follow-up services for inpatients.

DO YOU OFFER FAITH-BASED ADVICE?

Yes, our clinical team members take everyone’s spiritual needs into consideration when providing a holistic approach to therapeutic care. Many of our clinical team have a solid foundation in the faith and are ready to engage in spiritual conversations and provide Bible-based soul care. Our team includes two ordained pastors and others with formal theological training.

DO YOU SEE CHILDREN?

Yes, our clinical team members care for people of all ages and stages of life. Our team includes therapists with expertise in child psychology, adolescent counseling and play therapy.

WHAT IS THE EDUCATION AND EXPERTISE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MENTAL HEALTH PROVIDERS?

LiveWell has a large team of licensed and clinically trained professional mental health providers who treat a wide variety of mental health issues. Our team is familiar with traditional and modern therapeutic modalities. Mental health care providers often have many similarities. A list of their distinctions by education and expertise is provided:

Clinical Psychologists (PsyD): Clinical psychologists hold doctorates and are able to diagnose and treat psychoses and other serious mental illnesses.

Mental Health Counselors (MHCs): Mental health counselors hold Masters degrees and are licensed in a variety of specialties, working with individuals and groups to diagnose and treat everything from mental health disorders to behavioral addictions.

Marriage and Family Therapists (MFT): Marriage and Family Therapists are Masters and licensed in various specialties, working with individuals and families in psychotherapy sessions to address everything from individual mental health, marriage and relationship conflicts to family systems.

Social Workers (TS): Social workers hold a master’s degree and are licensed in various specialties, working with individuals and groups in counseling settings to provide therapeutic care and advocate for support from social and community resources.
