Jamshedpur: Judge Roshan inspects observation house and recommends vocational training for miners

Jamshedpur, March 27: Jharkhand High Court Judge Deepak Roshan visited Karandih Juvenile Observation Home and reviewed the basic facilities and infrastructure. He was greeted by the young inmates of the observation house who gave him saplings and also sang in his honor.
The District Child Protection Officer briefed Judge Roshan on the operation of the observation home and the basic infrastructure available there. He said there were provisions for the education, health, nutrition and entertainment of children in accordance with the provisions of the Juvenile Justice Act.
The children performed dance and yoga performances in front of the guests. Judge Roshan praised the children for their talented performance. He ordered those responsible for the observation house to provide vocational training, sports and study equipment for the children. The District Social Welfare Officer, Satya Thakur, assured to make the necessary arrangements in this regard.
East Singhbhum District Judge Anil Kumar Mishra also accompanied Judge Roshan. Others present at the occasion included ADJ I Abhash Verma, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Nishant Kumar, Deputy Development Commissioner Pradip Prasad, SP City Subhash Chandra Jat, ADM Law and Order Nand Kishore Lal, Juvenile Justice Board Principal Magistrate Pawan Kumar and Juvenile Justice Council members Barnali Chakraborty and Seema Jha.
